Welcome to the website for the Niagara Diabetes Charity Golf Scramble. Our organization is made up of dedicated volunteers who contribute their time, their skills and their energy toward fundraising efforts that will aid diabetes research and provide relief to those living with diabetes. Our second annual Niagara Diabetes Charity Golf Scramble, held in June 2009, was a great success, thanks to our many volunteers, sponsors, supporters, donors, and friends.
This ambitious project was spearheaded by David Chamberlain. David and his wife know too well the challenges of dealing with diabetes, as their son suffers from this condition.
- Our mission is to save the many sons and daughters who live with diabetes.
- Our aim is to create awareness and find a cure.
- Our objective is to fund diabetes research and to help relieve those who suffer from this chronic disease.
In 2009, we are proud to extend our congratulations to Camp Huronda near Huntsville, Ontario, which is celebrating 40 years of operation on Lake Waseosa. This camp, owned and operated by the Canadian Diabetes Association, provides exciting adventures, fun and numerous activities for children living with type 1 diabetes. We want to do something for these youngsters. With your help, we can.
